I've wanted to digitise my late father's cine films from 1960s/70s for many years but it's always been too expensive to have it done professionally. This fabulous little machine has made it possible for my husband and I to do it ourselves and I'm thrilled with the results. I now have hours of old family holidays, days out and weddings to share with my extended family. I can only repeat what others have already said in reviews. Wolverine is displayed in the power up screen (possibly indicating a good quality machine but old model). Loading the film is a little fiddly and it's helpful to have a torch or light to show where to thread the film. Occasionally films get stuck but for me it was only when the film had been spliced badly (too thick to go through the feed gate). Be patient as the digitising takes time (we found a 3 min film took about 25 mins). We also found it best to run it in the room we were sitting in case it did get stuck (it's very light so easy to move from room to room). The quality of my 50/60 year old films look better on a phone than a larger screen. All in all I'm delighted with this little machine + would willingly recommend it to others.
