This is great conventional reel. I use it for all applications. When Rock bottom fishing I can crank it up fast with ease. Works well for jigging and even casting. I own expansive reels for my main setups. This one is my workhorse, backup. I have 50 Lbs braid and 40 lbs mono that I use for Trolling and within one second turn into bottom setup by adding a pre rigged 2 dropper loop leader and weight to the swivel instead of lure.If I go on a fishing from jet ski or kayak I m not bringing my expensive reels. So I use it for every application. This one is also great for beginner ora loaner to a friend on fishing trip. I m not worried to beat it up. You can see my videos online where I use this Seagate.
