Was looking for a nice light smaller reel for my Okuma SST-C-762la, and all reviews I read said this was the reel to get. Gave it a try and the moment I paired it with that rod, I knew I had my “perfect” combo (perfect until I find something I like better) for trout and Kokanee trolling, as well as casting or back bouncing.For all the features it comes with, I thought the price was good. Simple reel like any other, nice smooth retrieve, and has the line counter. I was never one who cared about line counters, usually just went by feel and adjusted everything as needed. With the line counter, I still do the same but, now when I find that sweet spot I have a little more “data” to refer to to get all my lines as close as possible to that same strike zone.Time will tell how it really works but, I have some high hopes and can’t wait to really put it to use.
