The first time out, I experienced some difficulty adjusting the drag. Trigger is out of the way toward the front like a pistol grip- can be operated with one hand! . Has separate drag wheel like all other reels. Has speed drop control. Ill most likely buy 2 more before the year ends. I go out with 6 jig rods on given day. No more LINE SPIN! Get down 2-4 times faster than a spinning rod which is critical when on top of a school.Love the trigger and smooth release with even the lightest jig. Great for those bites on way down.Awesome! Haven’t got to use it ice fishing yet as it’s July but I did give it a try off the boat just to see how to free fall action works and let me tell you I’m hooked! I will buy this reel again!Love this reel , only downfall is hard to tie line on to start, other than that awesome so far , smooth and works well !For the price I wasn't expecting so much plastic. Reel works as intended. Plastic parts for the price of the reel is rather sad.
