I purchase this hose for my father after he's been complaining about the garden hose for months. We've only had it for a short month, but he was ecstatic! I didn't know something as simple as a garden hose could make an old man so happy.This hose works perfectly as intended. I've seen some reviewers claim that the hose will begin to crack if left out in the sun. While this may be true, we've elected to cover the hose with a cheap woven bag so protect it from sunlight. So far, the hose retracts perfectly each and every time. I will also mention that this looks perfect mounted on the wall out front where we have a small garden. I think this is a great addition/alternative to a conventional water hose!
